You can take the Velocity Dining Guide with you wherever you go. You can get details on more than 300 restaurants, and search by city.
How to get it
1. Get
this zip file and unzip it (double-clicking should do the trick). This will create a file on your Desktop, or your browser's designated download storage area, called "Velocity Dining Guide."
2. Connect your iPod to your computer. On a Windows machine, it should appear in "My Computer." On a Mac, it should appear on your desktop. Be sure your iPod has disk use enabled.
3. Open the iPod drive, open the "Notes" folder and drag the "Velocity Dining Guide" folder into the "Notes" folder.
How to view it
1. Dismount and disconnect your iPod. Go to the main menu, then select "Extras," then "Notes," then "Velocity Dining Guide." It might take a short while to load, but this should only happen the first time or when the dining guide is updated.
